Primož Turnšek will guide us into innovative, concrete applications of mycelium as an alternative to traditional materials in building and insulation, design and packaging and other eco-solutions. Marek Wieczorek teaches art history at the U. of Washington, Seattle, and is currently writing “Loving Earthbook (1.0): Our Resilience, Creativity, and Kind-ness in a Fully Connected World”. “Earthbook” is his term for an ambitious long-term project and catchall term for a book, global network, and interactive website that aims to connect and inspire future generations to earthbound and regenerative, resilient and creative forms of living based in the strongest force in the universe: Love. Primož Turnšek is a microbiology expert, director of SME for mushroom production, a permaculture designer, researcher and innovator. He is combining these different roles in an ongoing quest to partner with nature. He shares his experience in workshops and courses, and offers advice on home mushroom production.
